WHY OUR DENTAL IMPLANTS IN ROTHERHAM?

In the past, expensive and lengthy treatments such as bridges and dentures were the only option for missing teeth, but now, dental implant surgery is commonly used as a longer lasting, convenient and more cost effective solution. Implants can even be combined with other treatments, such as bridges and crowns, for a beautiful, natural-looking smile.

If you have one or more missing teeth, it’s important to get treatment as soon as possible, as missing teeth can put strain on the others in your mouth. The speedy replacement of a lost tooth will slow down bone loss and preserve other healthy teeth, helping to maintain your oral health and ensuring you feel comfortable and confident with your smile.

DENTAL IMPLANT PRICES FROM £2800

Improve your smile and your confidence by filling missing teeth with implants from £2800 per implant (includes bespoke screw retained implant crown).

As part of your implant consultation, we’ll perform an in-depth analysis, comprising of a complete dental examination of your existing teeth and gums, digital photographs of the inside and outside of the mouth and all routine X-rays.

We will then present all of our findings back to you, discuss in detail any issues and advise you of all of your options, giving our experienced recommendations. We will then work with you to formulate a bespoke plan of treatment and within seven days of your clinical presentation you will receive a letter via email and/or the post detailing everything we have discussed.

THE PROCESS

1. IMPLANT PLACEMENT

The first phase of your treatment will be implant placement. Our implant surgeon will apply a local anaesthetic and implant a titanium post into the jaw bone, in the location of the missing tooth. This procedure is quick – lasting between one and two hours – and relatively painless due to the local anaesthetic. You may experience a small amount discomfort following the placement of the implant but this will subside and healing will occur relatively quickly.

2. BIOLOGICAL INTEGRATION

Biological Integration, when the implant integrated with the bone, is usually expected to occur within eight – 12 weeks.  In a very small amount of cases, this integration may take up to a year. When the implant has integrated with the bone, it will provide a strong and stable platform for the new crown or bridge.

3. RESTORING THE IMPLANT

Once your implant integrates with the bone, we are then able to restore the implant. After taking digital scans of the position of the implants, the final ‘teeth’ can be individually designed, made and cemented or screwed into the implant. Once in place, they will look, feel and function as a natural tooth.

DENTAL IMPLANTS IN ROTHERHAM – SINGLE TOOTH REPLACEMENT

Replacing a single missing tooth can be a highly successful procedure using dental implants.

Treatment is highly conservative as it is not necessary to prepare adjacent teeth to support bridgework, and the implant tooth can be looked after just like your own natural teeth.

The implant tooth itself is usually made with the use of special computer-aided design and manufacturing techniques to produce beautiful, cosmetic teeth, made entirely out of a strong ceramic material.
