CLEAR ALIGNERS IN ROTHERHAM
Your treatment will start with a consultation with one of our experienced clinicians, who will examine you, talk to you about your personal goals for your smile and develop a computer model of your treatment. This will show where your teeth are at the start of the process and map out the journey to the prescribed position. Once you have reviewed the plan with one of our clinicians, we will arrange for a set of bespoke aligners to be made just for you. We use 2 world class clear aligner systems at our Rotherham Clinic, ClearCorrect and Invisalign. Both systems give great results and we will discuss which one will be best for your individual case requirements.
You’ll wear each clear and comfortable aligner for two weeks, before moving on to the next in your series of aligners. As each is slightly different from the last, they will move your teeth gradually into the desired position. During treatment, you will visit us periodically – usually every two months – so we can monitor your progress and provide you with your next set of aligners.
CLEAR ALIGNERS IN ROTHERHAM: THE FACTS – HOW IT WORKS
An average Clear Aligner treatment takes around 9-12 months and is made up of the following steps:
- A consultation with one of our clinicians and certified practitioners for an evaluation about your treatment
- Diagnostics will be taken, including an X-ray; photographs of your smile and digital scan based on your treatment plan; and your dental records
- A virtual 3D image is then generated. This shows you the movement of your teeth from the current position to the desired final position
- We will then work with you to approve the plan and arrange a set of bespoke aligners to be made just for you – the number of aligners required is individual and varies from person to person
We are a Digital Practice
Because we are a digital practice, we do not need to take messy conventional dental impressions. Instead, we use a small camera which easily records your teeth shapes digitally for improved comfort and accuracy.
